HOW TO BOOK A PRIVATE WEDDING VENUE 101

Planning a wedding is like when you planned your graduation dinner-- For example: I bet you had to agree on a price

range the family could afford. They probably also had to find out the type of food everyone likes, the drive-time for

all guests. Maybe then consider the acoustics for grandpa, so they had to decide if outside or inside is best, and so on.

Once you know what everyone wants--You make the reservation!

If you search first without the answers, you will be sorely disappointed to learn everyone’s objections

later and have to start all over again.

You should have Grabbed a Six Pack! Wait. What?

Yes, a six pack of the answers listed below will save you a lot of time.

So grab a “Booking six-pack” and let’s party!

1) HOW MUCH: Set your budget. Your budget should cover all major

services for the wedding day--except hotel. A realistic range for full-service weddings cost about 40 to 55K USD.

2) HOW MANY: Minimum guest count should be based on 60% of invited guests. Be

conservative. You can always add people but not get refunds on no-shows.

3) HOW PRETTY: Have inspiration pictures of your style and what you expect as decor and vibe.

4) HOW SOON: We need 2 or 3 possible dates please. Mind the weather and

Mexican holidays. We close during rainy season which is June through October.

5) WHERE IN MEXICO: Why Vallarta-Nayarit vs Cancun or Cabo? Pros and cons. Hint:

hurricanes suck. See our location comparison to Vallarta.

6) WHO TO TRUST: Find a venue/planner you trust. DM the brides that are tagged on the venue's Socials.

Read Reviews. Video Call the venue. Tip: Find venues with very active social media.
